          Once you have made the decision to Sell By Owner, you need a game plan.  Here is a step by step check list to get you on your way.  You can refer to any of the other pages in this For sale By Owner section to help you with any of the details.

1.    Inspect the property to identify any areas that might require fixing or changing.

2.    Decide on your sales price.

3.    Know what your net sales price will be.

4.    Obtain all the required disclosure forms.

5.    Write out a marketing plan.

6.    Contact a title company for a Property Profile.

7.    Contact a friendly loan officer to help qualify buyers.

8.    Order a Home Warranty.

9.    Put up a For Sale sign with information flyers.

10.  Get an answering machine if you do not have one.

11.  Obtain a blank Real Estate Sales Contract and study it.
